| He has had many
experiences related to art, including a B.S. and an M.S. in Art Education
from Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas. He has completed
undergraduate studies in architecture from Kansas State University,
Manhattan, Kansas and design, photography and painting from the University
of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas.
He started sculpture commissions as a graduate student. Some of the portrait sculptures were posthumous reconstructions. From 1965 to 1978 he served as a community college art instructor. From 1978 to present he has been a self-employed artist/sculptor. Teaching experience includes drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, 2D and 3D design, art history, art appreciation, art fundamentals and photography. Sculptures he has made were mostly in Bronze, however others were in plaster, ultracal, hydracal, hydrastone, resins, cast concrete and terracotta. The majority of the sculptures were commissions. He has also had extensive experience in production art including pottery and relief designs. Let's See the Artist at work And some finished products. |
